AWS basically has the software (IMG Burn in this case) choose the best speed based on your hardware, which will most likely be the lowest your drive can do or alternatively the max speed. Now people are going to say to burn at 4x speed, because that's what the PS1 was supposed to read, but chances are, unless you have a vintage drive, it won't be able to write at such low speeds, lowest you can do with most modern drives is probably something like 16x.
